షాపూర్ నగర్: రాఖీ పౌర్ణమి సందర్భంగా షాపూర్ నగర్లోని కుత్బుల్లాపూర్ మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ నివాసంలో రక్షాబంధన్ వేడుకలు సందడిగా జరిగాయి. నియోజకవర్గంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాలకు చెందిన మహిళలు, సోదరీమణులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ఆయన నివాసానికి చేరుకుని కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్తో పాటు ఆయన సోదరుడు, మేడ్చల్–మల్కాజిగిరి డీసీసీ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు కూన శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్కు రాఖీలు కట్టి తమ అభిమానాన్ని, ఆప్యాయతను చాటుకున్నారు.
రాఖీ పౌర్ణమి సందర్భంగా మహిళలు సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా రాఖీలు తీసుకుని వచ్చి అన్నదమ్ముల చేతులకు కట్టారు. అనంతరం వారికి పండుగ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేశారు. మహిళలు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో తరలిరావడంతో కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ నివాసంలో పండుగ వాతావరణం నెలకొంది.
మహిళల అభిమానానికి కృతజ్ఞతలు
తనకు రాఖీలు కట్టేందుకు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో మహిళలు రావడం పట్ల కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. మహిళలు చూపిన ప్రేమ, ఆప్యాయత, అభిమానానికి కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. ప్రజలతో, ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలతో తనకు ఉన్న అనుబంధం ఎప్పటికీ ప్రత్యేకమైనదని పేర్కొన్నారు.
రక్షాబంధన్ కేవలం రాఖీ కట్టుకునే పండుగ మాత్రమే కాదని, అన్నాచెల్లెళ్ల మధ్య ఉన్న ప్రేమ, ఆప్యాయత, నమ్మకం, పరస్పర గౌరవం, బాధ్యతలకు ప్రతీకగా నిలిచే పవిత్రమైన పండుగ అని అన్నారు.
మహిళలకు గౌరవం ఇవ్వాలి
సమాజంలో మహిళలకు ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ గౌరవం, మర్యాద ఇవ్వాలని కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ అన్నారు. కుటుంబ వ్యవస్థను బలోపేతం చేయడంలోనే కాకుండా సమాజ అభివృద్ధిలో కూడా మహిళల పాత్ర ఎంతో కీలకమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
మహిళలు అన్ని రంగాల్లో ముందుకు సాగుతున్నారని, వారి భద్రత, గౌరవం, సాధికారతకు సమాజంలోని ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ బాధ్యత వహించాలని అన్నారు. మహిళల పట్ల గౌరవభావంతో వ్యవహరించడం ప్రతి ఒక్కరి బాధ్యత అని తెలిపారు.
సోదరభావానికి ప్రతీకగా రక్షాబంధన్
రాఖీ పౌర్ణమి సందర్భంగా మహిళలు తమ సోదరులకు రాఖీలు కట్టి వారి క్షేమాన్ని ఆకాంక్షించడం భారతీయ సంప్రదాయంలో ఎంతో ప్రత్యేకమైనదని కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ అన్నారు. కుటుంబ బంధాలను మరింత బలోపేతం చేసే పండుగగా రక్షాబంధన్కు ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉందని తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్, కూన శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్లు మహిళలకు రాఖీ పౌర్ణమి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. నియోజకవర్గ ప్రజలందరూ సుఖసంతోషాలతో, ఆయురారోగ్యాలతో ఉండాలని ఆకాంక్షించారు.
పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్న మహిళలు
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మహిళలు పద్మ, లావణ్య, శ్యామల, సంగీత, అనిత తదితరులతో పాటు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు, అభిమానులు, స్థానిక మహిళలు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు. మహిళలు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో తరలివచ్చి రాఖీలు కట్టడంతో కార్యక్రమం ఆప్యాయత, సోదరభావంతో కొనసాగింది.
Raksha Bandhan Celebrations
Shapur Nagar: Raksha Bandhan celebrations were held with enthusiasm at the residence of former Quthbullapur MLA Koon Sri Sailam Goud in Shapur Nagar on the occasion of Rakhi Pournami. Women and sisters from different parts of the constituency arrived in large numbers and tied rakhi to Koon Sri Sailam Goud as well as his brother, Medchal–Malkajgiri DCC Vice President Koon Srinivas Goud, expressing their affection and support.
Women brought traditional rakhis and tied them on the wrists of the brothers before extending their festival greetings. The large gathering created a festive atmosphere at Koon Sri Sailam Goud’s residence.
Gratitude for the Affection
Koon Sri Sailam Goud expressed happiness over the large number of women who came to tie rakhis to him. He thanked them for their love, affection and support and said that his relationship with the people, particularly women, remains special.
He said Raksha Bandhan is not merely a festival of tying rakhi but also represents the love, trust, mutual respect and responsibility shared between brothers and sisters.
Respect for Women
Koon Sri Sailam Goud said everyone should treat women with dignity and respect. He highlighted the important role women play not only in strengthening families but also in the development of society.
He said women are progressing across different fields and that society has a collective responsibility toward their safety, dignity and empowerment.
Raksha Bandhan as a Symbol of Brotherhood
Koon Sri Sailam Goud said the tradition of women tying rakhis to their brothers and wishing for their well-being holds a special place in Indian culture. He described Raksha Bandhan as a festival that strengthens family relationships.
On the occasion, Koon Sri Sailam Goud and Koon Srinivas Goud extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to the women and wished all constituency residents happiness, prosperity and good health.
Large Number of Women Participate
Women including Padma, Lavanya, Shyamala, Sangeetha and Anita, along with Congress party leaders, workers, supporters and local women, participated in the event in large numbers. The gathering continued in an atmosphere of affection and brotherhood.
