హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 27: బీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ ఎమ్మెల్యే, మాజీ మంత్రి తన్నీరు హరీశ్‌రావును పోలీసులు గురువారం ఉదయం హైదరాబాద్‌లోని కోకాపేట నివాసం వద్ద హౌస్ అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. వరంగల్ ప్రభుత్వ పాలిటెక్నిక్ కళాశాల విద్యార్థుల ఆందోళనకు మద్దతు తెలిపేందుకు ఆయన వరంగల్ వెళ్లేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్న సమయంలో పోలీసులు ఆయనను బయటకు వెళ్లకుండా అడ్డుకున్నారు. Hyderabad, August 27: BRS MLA and former minister T. Harish Rao was placed under house arrest by police at his residence in Kokapet, Hyderabad, on Thursday morning. He was reportedly stopped from travelling to Warangal, where he planned to extend support to protesting government polytechnic students.

పాలిటెక్నిక్ విద్యార్థులు GO 97ను రద్దు చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ ఆందోళన చేస్తున్నారు. విద్యార్థులకు సంఘీభావం తెలిపేందుకు హరీశ్‌రావు వరంగల్ వెళ్లాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు. అయితే తన పర్యటనకు అనుమతి లేదని పోలీసులు తెలిపినట్లు తాజా రిపోర్టులు పేర్కొంటున్నాయి. Polytechnic students have been protesting demanding the withdrawal of GO 97. Harish Rao had planned to travel to Warangal to express solidarity with the students. Recent reports state that police cited the absence of permission for the visit.

హరీశ్‌రావు నివాసం వద్ద పోలీసులు భారీగా మోహరించడంతో ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితి నెలకొంది. బీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు కూడా అక్కడికి చేరుకుని పోలీసుల చర్యపై అభ్యంతరం వ్యక్తం చేసినట్లు రిపోర్టులు వెల్లడించాయి. A significant police presence was reported outside Harish Rao’s residence, with tensions reported at the location. BRS leaders and party workers also reportedly gathered there and objected to the police action.
