మేడ్చల్: శామీర్‌పేట్‌ పరిధిలో గంజాయి చాక్లెట్ల విక్రయాల దందాను పోలీసులు గుట్టురట్టు చేశారు. తూంకుంట చంద్రారెడ్డి కాలనీలో పాన్‌షాప్‌ ముసుగులో గంజాయి చాక్లెట్లను విక్రయిస్తున్న బీహార్‌కు చెందిన బిద్యానంద్ కుమార్ను పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేశారు.

Medchal: Police have reportedly uncovered a network involving the alleged sale of cannabis chocolates in the Shamirpet area. Police arrested Bidyanand Kumar, a native of Bihar, who was allegedly selling the chocolates under the cover of a pan shop in Tunkunta Chandra Reddy Colony.

పోలీసులు నిర్వహించిన తనిఖీల్లో భారీగా గంజాయి చాక్లెట్లు బయటపడ్డాయి. మొత్తం 5,298 గంజాయి చాక్లెట్లు, సుమారు 24.59 కిలోల బరువున్న మత్తు పదార్థాన్ని పోలీసులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.

During the police inspection, a large quantity of cannabis chocolates was reportedly found. Police seized 5,298 chocolates containing suspected intoxicating substance, weighing approximately 24.59 kg.

నిందితుడి వద్ద నుంచి నగదు, మొబైల్‌ ఫోన్‌, సూట్‌కేస్‌ తదితర వస్తువులను కూడా సీజ్‌ చేసినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.

Police also stated that cash, a mobile phone, suitcase and other items were seized from the accused.

పోలీసుల ప్రాథమిక విచారణలో ఈ దందాకు సంబంధించి పలు కీలక విషయాలు వెలుగులోకి వచ్చినట్లు సమాచారం. పాన్‌షాప్‌లోనే గంజాయి చాక్లెట్లను బహిరంగంగా విక్రయించకుండా, అక్కడికి వచ్చే వినియోగదారులతో సంప్రదింపులు జరిపి, అనంతరం వారిని ఇంటికి తీసుకెళ్లి మత్తు పదార్థాలను విక్రయిస్తున్నట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు.

According to information from the preliminary police inquiry, several details have reportedly emerged. Police allegedly found that the chocolates were not openly sold at the pan shop. Instead, customers were contacted there and allegedly taken to a residence, where the intoxicating substance was sold.

Police are also reportedly examining the possible role of the accused’s wife. As she is currently absconding, search efforts are underway to locate her.
